NMR Spectroscopy Analyzers

RSS
NMR spectroscopy is an analytic technique that can provide a significant amount of molecular information about a sample. The process is based on an essential principle of nuclear physics: When magnetic nuclei are put into a magnetic field, the nuclei line up in an expected and limited amount of orientations. An NMR analysis involves using energy in the form of electromagnetic radiation to orient magnetic nuclei against a magnetic field. When the energy is taken away, the nuclei reorient themselves in alignment with the magnetic field, releasing energy in the process. By examining the spectra of energy released, the structural makeup of the sample can be established.
