Weighing only 5 pounds, the MiniSort’s convenient pistol shape provides excellent ergonomics for high-volume use in rapid identification and sorting of aluminum, titanium and red metal alloys. The new MiniSort analyzer is the first hand-held OES alloy sorter dedicated to rapid sorting of scrap metal. It is specifically designed to withstand the rigorous and harsh environment of the metals recycling industry. The MiniSort packs all of the power and performance of larger, cumbersome air-burn OES spectrometers currently used throughout the metals recycling industry into a small, fully-contained package that can be easily transported to anywhere it is needed - in the yard or beyond.
Unlike other ARC-based analyzers, the MiniSort never needs recalibration or standardization. The stability and performance of the MiniSort is unmatched in any other portable or mobile ARC-based analyzer. The point-and-shoot simplicity allows even the most novice users to enjoy success from the moment the unit is powered ON. Each unit is factory programmed to include all of the most common aluminum, titanium and red metal alloy grades. The internal grade library is easily customized to suit client’s specific operations and additional alloy grades.
