Amcor to Acquire Spain's Tobepal

Australian based packaging company Amcor has reached an agreement to acquire Spanish flexible packaging company Tobepal Group.

Tobepal has three plants in Spain that generate sales of 74 million Euros and give Amcor a 25% market share in Spain in the flexible packaging sector.

Tobepal is seen as a good fit to Amcor Flexibles Europe (AFE) and provides a good entry into the pharmaceutical and cosmetics market for Amcor. They will also provide complimentary technology to AFE in the area of extrusion lamination.
