FORTECH Products, a developer and manufacturer of a wide range of products ranging from metal working fluids to packaging of after-market products, announced that it is expanding its operations in Michigan to meet the increasing customer demand for its products and services.
The company is expanding its production capabilities, as well as its laboratory and office facilities in the region.
Recently, FORTECH shifted to a new headquarters in Brighton, Michigan, increasing its production capacity by nearly three times and product storage capacity by 75,000 gallons. In addition, 25% additional warehouse space is included and the company’s full-service R&D laboratories have been expanded.
Creighton Forester, President and CEO of the company, stated that they foresee a considerable increase in sales in the aftermarket lubricants and corrosion-resistant coatings. FORTECH has made over $3.2-million investment to install equipment in its new facilities in Brighton.
The company’s corrosion-resistant coatings are used for dip or spray application for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The coatings can be applied at low-film builds and they do not need high-temperature bake-cycles. Several paints and coatings from FORTECH are water-based with low emission levels. Hence, they support the company’s customers to meet their environmental goals. The water-based paints and coatings are formulated for application in the recreational-vehicle, automotive and allied industries.
Metal-working lubricants offered by the company include honing oils, synthetic lubes, semi-synthetic lubes, soluble oils and cutting oils. These materials are ideal to polish and finish metal surface to assure accuracy.
