Can you tell us why you're at Pittcon this year?

We come to Pittcon every year. One of the reasons we come here is there's a big concentration of people who are very interested in automating their laboratory with our software.

We're providers of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic lab notebooks.

What products are you exhibiting this year at Pittcon?

We're showing the latest generation of our product line and one of the things we're announcing here is the availability of what we call packet solutions.

So what we do is we take our enterprise LIMS platform, and we actually have made pre-configured packages that we can deliver to certain industries. These are purpose-built solutions that can be given to a customer for a certain type of lab and they're saving a tremendous amount of money and time and cost and risk when deploying a LIMS system.

So we've got packages that gear towards the pharma market, diagnostics space, bio-banking, food and beverage, oil and gas. These are very industry-specific, pre-packaged solutions.

What makes your product different from any others that are on the market?

One of it's our longevity. We've been in business for over 35 years. We still support all of our customers. And, technology-wise, we're leading edge in the technology.

It's all browser-based. It works on portable devices like iPads and tablets. Very powerful, flexible solution, very scalable for enterprise deployments.
