Can you tell us about the company?
We are a family owned company with 15,000-16,000 people. Our headquarters are in Blomberg, Germany. We have 14 different industries. One big part is the process industry. We are a global company - you'll find us everywhere.
Can you tell us why you are at ACHEMA this year and what you have on show?
We are here to show our monitoring for safety showers, which is important as you need to know when somebody activates the safety shower so that you can help them. We can do that and it is very easy as you use a special dashboard that we have for tracing all these things.
We have a dashboard for six applications. One of these is this the emergency shower. When I activate the emergency shower you will be able to see that the shower is activated. We use TC mobile and it will send an SMS to first aid guy who can help the person who has activated the emergency shower.
All of the different solutions can help our end user to make the work easier and paperless. We want to give the end user the idea of what you can monitor and what we can help with the infrastructure
They can make a checklist here and look at the motor, for example. You see the motor behaving and this kind of predictive maintenance is where we have vibration sensors inside. With this vibration sensor we can also measure the health of the coms system and give the end user information about what we suspect. You have to maintain this system or when you don't do something then you could lose your production.
