Please tell us a bit about the company and why you are here at ACHEMA this week.
Bigneat is a UK company specializing in recirculating clean air technology. We manufacture a range of ductless fume cabinets and powder weighing enclosures. We're here at ACHEMA to pick up potential new distributors in all markets.
Is there a particular product or range that you are showcasing?
We’ve got three products on our stand: a chemical storage system, a powder weighing enclosure, and a ductless fume hood, all of which utilize filtration. The carbon filters are for wet chemicals and the HEPA filters for particulates.
They're recirculating for starters. Typically, laboratories have a duct outside of the building, but these recirculate the air within the laboratory meaning a reduced cost in energy.
What would you like to get out of ACHEMA this week?
We're looking for distributors, of course, all around the world, mostly European or Asian markets, but it's also a good opportunity to meet our existing distributors as well. It’s a good place to meet.
Powder weighing enclosures typically will be used in pharmaceutical sectors, but that's not to say R&D laboratories, educational areas won’t use them too.
