A new extruded polypropylene grade plastics material from VTS Plastech is challenging traditional wood and steel for hospital bed base panels, bedheads and bottom boards.

The VTS Plastech polypropylene allows more creative freedom in the design of the panels, as well as being lightweight and almost impervious to water and cleaning fluids.

The panels can also be easily recycled.
