Chemical Resistance of Fine Ceramics
Applications in which Fine Ceramics can be used for their excellent chemical-resistant properties include semiconductor processing equipment, valves, pump components for fluid handling, chemical processing applications in chemicals factories, and more.
Even the most robust materials have their potential range of applications constrained due to their susceptibility to chemical erosion. Alumina and silicon carbide substances present in Fine Ceramics exhibit exceptionally high chemical resistance (low chemical solubility) and will not be deformed when immersed in an acid or alkali solution.
