New Products: Powder Metallurgy Premixes

Three new Ancorloy engineered binder treated premixed products from Hoeganaes offer, high performance metal powder alternatives to malleable and ductile cast iron materials. The new materials, Ancorloy MDA, MOB and MDC, require high temperature sintering of up to 1,260°C. Primary improvements in ultimate strength, yield, and elongation allow the materials to match malleable and ductile cast iron performance characteristics. The degree of alloying varies for each product with the lowest in Ancorloy MDA and the highest alloying content in Ancorloy MDC.
