High performance epoxy adhesive system EP22 has a convenient one to one mix ratio and cures at room temperature. It has excellent bond strength to similar and dissimilar substrates, good void filling properties and superior dimensional stability. It has exceptional adhesion to metals including steel and aluminum. EP22 spreads evenly and smoothly. It has a flowable paste viscosity. Cure speed can be accelerated by the use of heat. It is 100% reactive and contains no solvents or diluents.
Master Bond EP22 is resistant to exposure to many chemicals and thermal cycling. Its service operating temperature range is -60°F to 250°F. EP22 has a compressive strength of 11,000 psi and a tensile strength of > 8,000 psi. Shore D hardness is 75-80. It is readily machinable and shrinkage after cure is low -.0008 in/in.
