USP Class VI approved EP41SMed is a low viscosity room temperature curing epoxy system for bonding, sealing and potting. It has a 5 to 1 mix ratio by weight and has an exceptionally fast handling time of 10-15 minutes. EP41SMed has a mixed viscosity of 8-10,000 cps and is easy to apply. It contains no solvents or volatiles.

Master Bond EP41SMed bonds well to similar and dissimilar substrates. Electrical insulation properties are excellent. Volume resistivity is > 1014 ohm cm and dielectric strength is 440 volts/mil for a 1/8 inch thick test specimen measured at 75°F. It is recommended for small potting and encapsulation applications.
Additionally, EP41SMed offers a tensile strength of > 10,000 psi and shear strength of > 2,700 psi. It has a Shore D hardness of 80 and is serviceable from -60°F to +250°F. EP41SMed has exceptionally low linear shrinkage upon cure. Chemical resistance is outstanding. It can withstand exposure to solvents, ETO, gamma radiation and cold stimulants.
