UNS 11600 silver-bearing tough pitch copper has a conductivity of 101% IACS, anneal resistance and ductility. The following datasheet will cover the properties, designations, fabrication, heat treatment and applications of UNS 11600 copper.

Fabrication and Heat Treatment
Machinability
The machinability rate of UNS11600 copper is 20%.
Welding
Welding techniques such as soldering, brazing, gas shielded arc welding, and butt welding are preferred for UNS11600 copper. Other welding techniques such as oxyacetylene welding, coated metal arc welding, spot welding and seam welding are not recommended.
Forging
UNS11600 copper is forged at hot working temperatures ranging from 760 to 871°C (1400 to 1600°F). The hot forgeability rate of this metal is 65%.
Hot Working
UNS11600 copper has excellent hot working property.
Cold Working
UNS11600 copper has excellent cold working property.
Annealing
Annealing of UNS11600 copper is performed at temperatures ranging from 482 to 760°C (900 to 1400°F).
