UNS C15500 copper has very good hot and cold workability, good forgeability, and good to excellent corrosion resistance. It can be fabricated by coining, drawing and upsetting, hot forging and pressing, swaging, coppersmithing, stamping, and spinning.

Machinability
The machinability rate of UNS C15500 copper is 20.
Welding
Soldering, brazing, and spot welding are considered as suitable welding processes, whereas processes such as oxyacetylene welding, gas shielded arc welding, coated metal arc welding, seam welding and butt welding are not recommended for UNS C15500 copper.
Forging
Hot forgeability rating of UNS C15500 copper is 65 with the suitable hot working temperature being between 760 and 871°C (1400 and 1600°F).
Hot Working
UNS C15500 copper has excellent hot working property.
Cold Working
UNS C15500 copper has good cold working property.
Annealing
The annealing temperature of UNS C15500 copper is between 482 and 548°C (900 and 1000°F).
