Introduction
Copper alloy UNS C42200 is a copper-zinc alloy. The excellent cold
working characteristics of UNS C42200 copper alloy makes it a preferred
alloy for architecture. UNS C42200 changes its color based on the
alloying metals present. Recycling of brass is very cost-effective.
Brasses have excellent machinability and are anti-corrosive.
The following datasheet summarizes the chemical composition and
properties of UNS C42200 copper alloy.
