Fabrication and Heat Treatment
Welding
Welding process suitable for UNS C92800 alloy include brazing and soldering. Welding processes not recommended for this alloy include gas shielded arc welding, carbon arc welding, coated metal arc welding and oxyacetylene welding.
Machinability
The machinability rating of UNS C92800 alloy is 70.
Heat Treatment
UNS C92800 alloy has stress relieving temperature of 260°C (500°F). This alloy does not react to heat treatment. The time at temperature for this alloy is one hour per inch of section thickness.
