Introduction

Copper is a non-magnetic antibacterial metal with a reddish brown color. It is easy to alloy, join, and recycle. The properties of copper include ductility, toughness, corrosion resistant, and thermal and electric conductor.

Although copper possesses several unique properties, it needs to be hardened and strengthened for some of the industrial applications. Hence other metals such as tin, silicon, chromium, beryllium, silver, and nickel are added to it.

Copper UNS C19020 is a wrought alloy. It has good to excellent corrosion resistance.

The following datasheet discusses the chemical composition and properties of copper UNS C19020.
