The XYO optical oxygen sensors are capable of measuring ambient oxygen partial pressure (ppO2) employing the principle of fluorescence quenching by oxygen. An optional pressure sensor makes it possible to measure barometric pressure (mbar) and can convert the ppO2 reading to an oxygen concentration (O2%). Due to the non-depleting sensing principle, the oxygen sensors feature low power consumption, high accuracy and long lifetimes.
Typical applications include oxygen analyzers, oxygen concentrators, laboratory equipment, agriculture, fire prevention, confined space monitoring as well as high altitude training.
