XRF sample cups and holders are developed to analyze liquid and powder through X-Ray fluorescence. These XRF sample cups and holders come in different sizes to align with the specifications of most XRF instruments.
The manufacturing process ensures adherence to the RoHS directive, the absence of "whitening" agents, minimal trace element impurities, and reliable physical and chemical resistance.
Optional Features
- Single or double open-ended cups
- TrimLess® cups incorporate a sleeve that completely envelops the thin film material upon application, eliminating the need to trim excess material.
- Certain models include vented caps suitable for materials emitting gases during extended storage, and they feature overflow reservoirs to handle spills or overfilling of the cup.
Single or Double Open-Ended
To prepare a double open-ended cup, a film window is positioned over one end, and the cup is filled from the opposite end, supporting the sample directly with the film window.
If the film window is extremely thin or susceptible to chemical reactions from the sample, it might not be ideal for the window to bear the sample weight over extended periods.
In such cases, a single open-ended cup can be employed, enabling the sample to be supported by the cup itself during filling and storage, transitioning to reliance on the window only when inverted for measurement.
