The Omniseal® RACO® seal is especially engineered for materials with ultra-low friction, hot or cryogenic temperatures, or for chemical compatibility. This spring-energized seal could be best utilized in face-sealing conditions, including high vacuum and cryogenic fluids. Made using Fluoroloy®, a high-performance polymer jacket, that is corrosion-resistant, coupled with a heavy-duty RACO® seal spring for a relatively higher spring force along the sealing lip, the Omniseal® RACO® seal promises to effectively address face sealing needs.
The typical critical parts of the device include aerospace seals or propulsion systems and energy custom seals or LNG loading arm swivels. To facilitate better performance, the Omniseal® RACO® seal may be coupled with an extrusion resistance mechanism, a non-metal energizer, an abrasive loose media, seal clamp, or special seal designs.
Precise Fit
The Omniseal® RACO® seal works well with varying degrees of temperature, including extremely hot and cryogenic states. The device features a closed groove assembly coupled with low clamping force, enabling the Omniseal® RACO® seal to tolerate extreme temperatures while maintaining high levels of pressure and velocity.
Lifetime Confidence
The Omniseal® RACO® seal is resistant to fatigue, making its operational ability relatively longer than other similar products. The device continuously maintains its oil-free condition and manages the build-up of debris. With these features, the Omniseal® RACO® seal is easily able to facilitate rapid gas decompression.
