The TCM series is ideal for use in the manufacturing sector. This affordable, automated, user-friendly tester, when paired with the Chatillon DF Series digital force gauges, simplifies the process of conducting tensile, compression, peel, and flexural tests on users’ samples.
The motorized TCM Series force testers boast a compact design with generous clearance for testing large samples. Featuring an optimal 100 mm (3.9 in) throat clearance, there are no limitations when conducting tests on sizable samples. The universal adapter plate accommodates International and Metric thread sizes, providing flexibility for installing both custom and standard fixtures.
The force testers are equipped with tactile buttons, haptic feedback, and no moving parts or membranes, ensuring maximum durability, especially in production environments, and facilitating easy cleaning. The haptic feedback includes vibration to alert users that the command has been received, and an optional footswitch controller can be used for operation.
A bright LED digital display on the TCM Series force testers indicates travel speed and other messages, allowing users to continuously monitor the tester’s status. The testers feature a high rate return speed to enhance production throughput.
Integrated adjustable upper and lower mechanical limit switches contribute to safety and are utilized for different modes of operation, such as Cycling and Return To Zero.
With a small foot print, Cycle and Auto Return Modes, Universal Auto Switching A/C input, and durable tactile buttons with haptic feedback, the TCM Series is ideal for any testing requirements.
Available in two versions, the TCM100 supports a force capacity of up to 100 lbf (500 N), while the TCM350 handles up to 350 lbf (1500 N).
Both versions have a standard crosshead travel of 406 mm (16 inches) and are also offered in extended editions with a crosshead travel of 812 mm (32 inches).
The full 100 mm (3.9 inches) throat depth allows operators to perform force tests, including tension, compression, bending, peeling, adhesion, insertion, and extraction on samples up to 200 mm (7.8 inches), offering a wide range of testing options within a spacious working area while maintaining a compact footprint.
The adjustable travel speed ranges from 0.2 to 40 inches per minute or 5 to 1016 millimeters per minute.
