Wood flour fillers and extenders from Composition Materials are available in Softwood and Hardwood grades. They are available in an extensive range of mesh sizes as a filler additive in plywood, wood composites, thermoset plastics, adhesives, rubber, roofing shingles, and roofing paper.
Wood flours are also used in filtration applications as well as for absorbency (it has the ability to absorb three times its weight in water) to clean industrial spills and for soil remediation.
Wood flour is a multipurpose filler and extender that can be used to minimize mold shrink, change viscosity, and develop a greener product. It is biodegradable and made from recycled materials.
