The functions of three different components are combined in the Airpax™ SNAPAK® Series: power switch, fuse, and fuse holder. This means the OEM needs to mount one piece rather than three. Less assembly is required, inventory is reduced by two-thirds, and more panel density with less clutter is possible.
Because the SNAPAK® is snap-acting, it ensures that the contacts open and close instantly. Its design also eliminates “teasing” of the connections by the operator and reduces arcing. SNAPAK® circuit guards are UL Recognized as supplementary protectors per UL STD. 1077, CSA Certified as supplementary protectors per CSA STD. C22.2 No. 235, TUV Approved as circuit breakers for equipment per EN 60934, CCC Approved, and CE Compliant.
Examples of typical applications are office appliances, electronic data processing, medical equipment, commercial machines, vending, and amusement machines.
