It is compatible not only with MSA’s FGFD field devices but can also be extended to other process equipment that utilizes Modbus, 4-20 mA, or BACnet connectivity.
When housed in a NEMA 4 enclosure, the FGFD FieldServer is suitable for hazardous gas applications. It features a built-in cellular antenna and all necessary safety precautions for such environments.

The MSA Grid FieldServer Manager elevates proactive support for field devices by offering secure remote connectivity with all MSA FGFD FieldServers. It allows users to configure, update, and manage connected industrial devices while integrating them with business applications and cloud-based services.

Through Grid FieldVEU, users can remotely access and monitor FGFD FieldServers. Up to 15 data points per device are displayed for a clear overview of each device’s functionality and status.
