North American Plastics Compounders Expected to Grow Exports by 3.3% Over the Next 5 Years

According to a new technical market research report, THE PLASTICS COMPOUNDING MARKET (PLS018C) from BCC Research, North American companies will distribute an estimated 91 billion pounds of thermoplastic compounds in 2009. That is expected to increase to 107 billion pounds in 2014, for a 5-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.3%.

Global OLED Market Expected to Grow to be Worth $8.1 Billion in 2015

According to a new technical market research report, Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs): Technologies and Global Markets (SMC069A) from BCC Research, the global market for organic light-emitting diodes was worth $4.5 billion in 2008, decreased to $3.9 billion in 2009, and is expected to increase to nearly $8.1 billion in 2014. The compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for the 5-year period would be 15.3%.
