Timken Wins Bearing Supply Contract for Iron Ore Rail Cars

The Timken Company announced
today that metals and mining company, Companhia Vale do Rio Doce, awarded
Timken with a contract for 600 Timken® AP-2™ rail-car bearings. The
bearings are for Vale's Class K freight cars, which are used to transport
iron ore from Vale's mine sites across South America for export into China.

"Bionic Assassins" Capable of Finding Master of Disguise, the HIV Virus

HIV is a master of disguise, able to rapidly change its identity and hide undetected in infected cells. But now, in a long-standing collaborative research effort partially-funded by the Wellcome Trust, scientists from Oxford-based Adaptimmune Limited, in partnership with the Universities of Cardiff and Pennsylvania have engineered immune cells to act as "bionic assassins" that see through HIV's many disguises.
