Simula Receive Another Order for Body Armour From US Marines

Simula have just received another order for Small Arms Protective Inserts (SAPI) body armour panels from the US Marine Corps. The new order has a value of $3.1 million and is scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2003.

This order compliments similar orders worth $2 million and $2.5 million, placed on November 7, 2002 and January 8, 2003. These orders are due to be delivered during the current quarter.

All of these orders have been placed under the indefinite order/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from October 2001 and bring the total order value to over $15 million, totalling over 39,000 body armour inserts.
