DuPont Team Up with Technology Transfer Company

DuPont has signed two agreements with UTEK Corporation, a technology transfer company focused on open innovation, to search for technologies for transfer to DuPont and to actively market DuPont technologies and expertise to UTEK's growing customer base.

Under the first agreement, UTEK will make available DuPont technologies to UTEK's customer base for a five-year period. UTEK clients will benefit from a 30-day right-to-first negotiate to review and evaluate any of the DuPont technologies which are deemed relevant to their search criteria by UTEK and DuPont.

Under the second agreement, UTEK will search for appropriate technologies for possible transfer to DuPont's bio-based technology division.

"These alliances will help DuPont broaden our technology reach so that we can deliver the greatest value from our extensive technology portfolio," said Uma Chowdhry, DuPont Senior Vice President and Chief Science & Technology Officer.
