Freudenberg Acquire US Release Agent Manufacturer and Forms New Division

Freudenberg have established a new division, Freudenberg Chemical Specialties following their take over of US-based release agents company Chem-Trend. The move was taken to consolidate their lubrication activities.

The formation of Freudenberg Chemical Specialties also underscores Freudenberg’s commitment to the specialty lubrication field.

Chem-Trends will join Kluber Lubrication in the new division. Under the new structure, both businesses will continue to operate independently with their own brands in their own markets.

Chem-Trends is a manufacturer of release agents for the moulding of rubber, plastic and polyurethane and for the high pressure die casting industry.
