DuPont sustainability commitments recently were highlighted at K 2007, the world’s largest plastic technology show, in Duesseldorf, Germany. More than 242,000 visitors, including about 200 media representatives, learned about additions to the company’s portfolio of renewably-sourced polymers and new technologies for advanced metal replacement.
William Timken Jr., U.S. ambassador to Germany, visited the DuPont booth and was impressed with the depth and breadth of DuPont material solutions. He was guided around the DuPont display by Keith Smith , vice president and general manager, DuPont Engineering Polymers, who commented on DuPont’s successful participation at the show. “The sheer volume of visitors to our booth is a testament to the fact that when seeking innovation, customers will invariably turn to DuPont,” Keith said.
DuPont Engineering Polymers, DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers, DuPont Performance Elastomers and DuPont Titanium Technologies were represented at the booth.
