AMS Technologies presents the ATEX certified products from TAV Engineering, the specialist fluid sensor manufacturer based in Christchurch / England.
The ATEX certification integrates the highest industry specifications on TAV Engineering’s range of float switches and spring operated level switches. Included in this ATEX certification are the classes Exd II 1/2 GD, Ex d IIC T4 (Tamb = -50˚C to +100˚C), Ex tD A20/A21 T110˚C IP6X, EExia II 1 G D, EEx ia IIC T4, Ta = -50°C to +110°C, IP68 and SIRA 04ATEX2199X.
The liquid level sensor is suitable for hazardous area applications such as industrial, processing and fuel storage, where 'high' level alarm indication is required. The float switches can be supplied with up to 4 discrete float levels and also with an optional manual checking facility.
TAV Engineering has the capability to meet the stringent industry regulations including all the requirements of the European Pressure Directive. Full Lloyds quality approvals to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 are also offered.
Most of the standard designs are suitable for use in water, diesel, oil, hydraulic fluids, tanks and reservoirs. Customised switching levels, contact types and mounting styles are also available in smaller quantities.
