More Orders for Stimir's Anode Current Meters

A Dutch company has recently taken delivery of a Stimir Anode Current Meter for a client smelter.

The Stimir Anode Current Meter from VHE is a lightweight, portable instrument. The sensor head is positioned against the anode stem, and the volt-drop across two probes is displayed on the integral meter in real-time as the equivalent current.

The Stimir Anode Current Meter is scaled 0-15 kA; other scales are available to order. The handle is a plastic-coated light-weight aluminium tube providing both strength and durability.

VHE also manufactures a portable Hall Effect Cathode Current Meter to measure the current flowing in pot collector bars. The lightweight instrument instantaneously displays the cathode current on the integral meter.
