Paint Manufacturer Spies Hecker Recognized for Training and Development Programs

Spies Hecker, a brand of DuPont Performance Coatings, recently received recognition from Investors in People (IIP) for its third consecutive term for providing learning and development training and programs to its employees.

Spies Hecker managers Jacqui Robinson (left), and John Griffin display the recognition.

IIP provides organizations with a framework to recognize the importance of their employees by helping to develop their potential, improve their skills and gain greater job satisfaction. More than 30,000 organizations in the United Kingdom have accreditation from IIP, but Spies Hecker is the only group representing the automotive paint and refinishing sector.

"We are committed to IIP," said John Griffin, business manager, Spies Hecker. "We recognize that to be successful, it's essential to ensure that our people are happy by appreciating them and valuing the contributions they make. When we all work as part of a team, we can meet the demands of our customers."

IIP restricts its accreditation of organizations to a three-year period, after which time a review is held.
