£6.3 Million First Round Funding for Plastic Electronic Technology

Plastic Logic has successfully raised £6.3 million in first round funding. Investors include PolyTechnos Venture Partners, Amadeus Capital partners and the Dow Chemical Company. The company is holding the funding round open as it hopes to raise a total of £8 million in its first round.

Polymer Logic are a leading developer of plastics electronic technology andprinting electronic circuits. Funds will be used to expand the current team of 22 and accelerate development of their technology.

The technology that Polymer Logic are developing technology that could have a major impact on the semiconductor industry. It is envisaged that the technology will be used in flat panel displays, electronic paper and labels, intelligent packaging and wearable computers.
