The Solae Company™ -- a DuPont and Bunge joint venture -- recently participated in a food innovation expo, held by Marks & Spencer -- a leading U.K. retailer with presence in 40 countries. The expo was designed to help retailers and suppliers inspire and stimulate ideas through information.

More than 300 people attended the two-day event. Solae® prepared and presented a range of innovative concepts designed to enhance consumer health and well-being. The products included ready-to-drink beverages, nutrition bars and ready meals.
“A lot of interest in our food ingredients was generated from the event,” said Boyd Cushing, growth leader, DuPont U.K.
“This was a tremendous opportunity that now will require a disciplined follow-up to capture the opportunities this event generated,” said Nigel Hill, leader, Solae® specialty business for Western Europe.
