"With the addition of Tony Carroll to our sales force, it quickly became evident that the company would benefit from an additional manufacturing facility," said Mr. John Knapp, President of Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc. "Having a location in close proximity to many of the smelters was very logical, and Tony's expertise in the industry made him a natural to oversee the operation." Future plans for satellite manufacturing plants include several international facilities, to better service the global Aluminum market. "Despite a downturn in the industry, states Mr. Knapp, "we have only hit the tip of the iceberg with our overseas customers, and our international sales are increasing at a rapid pace. Establishing manufacturing facilities abroad will allow us to better serve our customers, who are the foundation of our company."

Utilizing a network of international representation, Mid-Mountain has become a supplier to some of the largest aluminum smelters in the world, including UCRusAL, the Russian aluminum giant that was formed through the merger of RusAl and SUAL and Swiss Glencore's alumina assets. In addition, Mid-Mountain supplies to many of aluminum smelters in North and South America, as well as Europe and the Middle-East.

In both manufacturing facilities, Mid-Mountain produces products for every facet of aluminum production including the Carbon Bake Furnace, Rodding Room, Pot Rooms, Crucible Maintenance and Rebuild, Cast House, Annealing and Pre-heat Furnaces, and Maintenance and Construction.

Having recently exhibited in September at both the XIV Conference-Exhibition- Aluminum of Siberia 2008 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, and ALUMINIUM 2008 in Essen, Germany, Mid-Mountain plans to exhibit at ALUMINIUM Dubai, March 29th - 31st, 2009, in Dubai, UAE.
