Olin to Merge with Chase Industries

Olin Corp, manufacturers of copper and copper alloys, have just entered into an agreement to merge with Chase Industries. Chase are a leading producer of brass rod and will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Olin when the deal has been completed.

The merger is seen a mutually beneficial and complementary, combining Olin’s strip and Chase’s rod product lines. Combining forces will help both parties to form a more powerful entity in their respective market, providing strength and the ability to compete more effectively.

Chase will also benefit in that they will gain access to Olin’s technical support, product development and marketing resources, enabling them to accelerate their growth.
