The Allrounder 420 C Golden Edition with Multilift V Select was the highlight of the Plastindia 2009 and was met with great interest by trade visitors. With a total of more than 1,000 trade fair contacts, the team from Arburg’s long-standing Indian trading partner, Unimark, was highly satisfied with the trade fair. In numerous intensive discussions, the customers have indicated their intention to increase investment in high-quality machine technology in the near future.
“We estimate that approximately a quarter of visitors to the stand are planning new capital investments despite the continuing economic crisis. They consequently requested information on Arburg’s high-quality machine technology in advance. The visitors were not only excited by the high-quality Arburg products, but also by the first-class presentation at the fair,” said Y. R. Anand, Director of the Indian Arburg trading partner, regarding the six-day event in New Delhi.
“Based on the Golden Edition machine series, which has become extremely well-established on the Indian subcontinent, Arburg has fully met the requirements of its Indian customers with the Allrounder 420 C Golden Edition and the Multilift V Select robotic system. With the extended Allrounder Golden Edition offerings, further new customer groups will no doubt be reached,” predicts Y. R. Anand regarding the next few months.
He went on to say that in view of the current situation, a general trend assessment of the Indian plastics market is difficult at the moment. Nevertheless, a cautiously optimistic mood was perceptible – at least for the second or third quarter of 2009.
