Cleanroom Systems, a division of Air Innovations, is marking its 26th year of operation with the completion of several macro-environmental projects for aerospace, metrology, medical device and general cleanroom original equipment (OEMs) manufacturers, said Michael Militi, division manager.
"These were large and challenging applications that required extremely precise temperature and humidity control of their processes," he added. "One order actually replaced Cleanroom Systems equipment that had been running non-stop on a production line since 1988. On all the jobs, our engineers refined specifications, customized cabinetry, and supervised installation and commissioning."
The Cleanroom Systems product portfolio includes standard and made-to-order modular systems from one-half to 24-ton capacities. Brands include HEPAir and AdvancAir products. HEPAiR equipment is available in standard or customized horizontal configurations and offers stable control of temperature, humidity, pressure and filtration for all cleanroom applications. Options include integrated stainless steel humidifiers, pre-filtration, re-heaters, ultra-violet sterilization, duct collars, and PID (proportional-integral-derivative) controls. AdvancAir products are custom built for critical control of temperature to as precise as +/- 0.008° C and of humidity to +/- 0.5% RH, in addition to filtration and pressure. AdvancAir products can be configured in "cubes" that can be installed either horizontally or vertically depending on the OEM's application needs. A choice of cooling media (direct expansion refrigerant or chilled water), integrated humidification (immersed element or ultrasonic) and filtration (high efficiency, ultra low or chemical) can be specified.
Cleanroom Systems equipment is self-contained and made of high-quality stainless steel or powder coated aluminum for durability. Multiple supply, return and make-up air opening locations offer ductwork accessibility and unit location flexibility. All units are factory pre-tested at simulated loading conditions to minimize on-site start-up. Cleanroom Systems offers prototyping, small runs and mass production, with design and manufacturing located in Syracuse, NY. Cleanroom Systems equipment is available for international operation and is certified to ETL, UL, CSA, CE, ANSI or SEMI safety and performance standards. AdvancAir products also serve as direct replacement for Clestra Cleanroom equipment built prior to 1999.
