SECO Warwick Furnaces Double Hardening Capacity for Wind Gears

ELTERMA S.A. completed commissioning of two SECO Warwick electrical PEGat-1000/18x30 pit furnaces and a G-4000-ET atmosphere generator at a Spanish manufacturer of gears for wind power plants in March 2009.

Both the furnace and the generator are additions to existing PEGat furnace technological lines that consist also of:

  • 2 electrical PEGat-1000/18x30 pit furnaces,
  • electrical PEG-750/18x30 furnace for tempering,
  • WHO-18x30 oil quench tank,
  • MKV2-18x30 washer.

This new equipment has doubled the capacity of the existing hardening plant.
