Bond&Fill, LLC, a leading fabricator of PVC Structural Adhesives and Sealants based in Taunton, traditionally serves the home construction market, but with the advent of new PVC products, specifically "wooden" boats which are made from PVC, the company has begun to charter new waters and expand into the boat market.
According to Daniel Andrade, president of Bond&Fill, LLC, "We've catered to Crab Alley Custom Boats out of Chester, Maryland for about five years. They were one of the first to use PVC and our Bond&Fill Adhesive in the custom construction of their bay skiffs instead of the traditional wood and wood adhesive. Their boats won't sink, burn or rot because the materials are superior to wood. As more folks within the boat market have begun to use PVC materials instead of wood, the boat market is quickly becoming more of a niche for us."
Crab Alley Custom Boats and their use of "modern touches" such as PVC and Bond&Fill Sealant was featured in the popular Soundings Magazine last month.
Bond&Fill adhesives and sealants continue to be the highest performance products available today for cellular PVC fabrication. In particular, Bond&Fill Structural is a superior nail hole and seam filler with the shear strength of 3,214 PSI giving it much greater strength than traditional PVC cement.
The company's precise formulations are the result of years of development and testing. Bond&Fill, LLC guarantees reliable and consistent cure rates, color, viscosity, and structural performance.
"We've earned a great reputation because our Bond&Fill line of PVC adhesives and sealants are of the highest quality and the most reliable. When you're out on the ocean in any size craft, it's imperative that the materials used in the craft are NOT going to compromise," noted Andrade.
