Coatex to Promote High Performance Additive for Paper and Pulp Markets at Japan TAPPI

The Japanese Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (JAPAN TAPPI) composed of pulp and paper scientists, engineers, and managers held its annual congress in SENDAI from October 2009, 7 to 9. This event is a milestone in the development of the paper industry in Japan.

Coatex will catch the opportunity of the 2009 edition to present its high performance and environmentally friendly additives to the Pulp and Paper markets.

Coatex is part of the Arkema group. It produces rheological additives for aqueous formulations, waterborne processes and particularly high performance synthetic thickeners and dispersing agents for Paper and Board industry such as:

RHEOCARB, a family of new rheology modifiers with unique performances based on steric thickening chemistry. Reducing costs while improving runnability and gloss is the key features of the RHEOCARB line.

Throughout the JAPAN TAPPI, Coatex will be present for technical discussions and exchanges in partnership with Omya and Shiraishi Companies.
