DuPont wholly owned subsidiary DuPont Photonics Technologies announced that its iVOA™ family of integrated variable optical attenuators (VOA) has successfully completed all reliability tests based on Telcordia GR-1221-CORE and GR-1209-CORE guidelines. The iVOA™ has met or exceeded all relevant Telcordia standards.

"We are extremely pleased with the VOA performance achieved during these Telcordia tests," said Dr. Louay Eldada, chief technology officer and vice president of engineering – DuPont Photonics. "These results, together with the results from our extreme temperature, optical power and electrical power tests, clearly demonstrate the robustness of our design and the reliability of our products."
