Noliac's distributor Ralf Stamm exhibited at the DESY/HASYLAB Users' Meeting, benefiting from connecting with the European project participants as well as the scientific user community. An eye-catching booth attracted many visitors.
The DESY is a large research facility in Hamburg, Germany, and their users' meetings are annual opportunities to strengthen the interaction among researchers and also their industrial partners in synchrotron technology.
Current needs for piezo actuators
Ralf Stamm describes the day as follows:
- Friday, Jan. 29th, was a snow-full day in Hamburg. It was cold outside but warm enough inside hall number 26 on the DESY campus. As a climax and completion of the users' meeting, the poster sessions and the industrial exhibition were taking place there.
The Noliac booth was eye-catching, and Noliac was the only manufacturer of piezoelectric components represented at the exhibition. DESY is an important research center in Europe, and scientists, engineers and technicians visited the booth.
The visitors were very interested in piezoelectric technology for their pace-making experimental setups at the beam-lines at synchrotrons all over the world. Many of them have current needs for piezo actuators, and Noliac will stay in close contact to the leading research institutions in order to let their needs push future development forward within the piezoelectric technology.
