As the Photovoltaic (PV) market primes for recovery and quick-paced growth, Linde Gases Division will be showcasing solutions for sustainable PV manufacturing at the Intersolar North America Exhibition and Conference (13 – 15 July at San Francisco's Moscone Center West Hall).
The Linde Gases Division is part of The Linde Group, a world leading gases and engineering company. Intersolar North America, co-located with SEMICON West, focuses on photovoltaics and thermal solar technology.
Attendees are invited to visit Linde’s booth [#8129], where Linde specialists will highlight the company’s leading turnkey solutions for PV manufacturing, its global network of gas facilities and its line of high purity gases and chemicals for both crystalline and thin-film silicon cell manufacturing. They will also discuss how to achieve new levels of performance using Linde’s onsite fluorine chamber cleaning process.
Continuing its drive to move industry focus from Grid Parity to Green Parity, Linde experts will be presenting on sustainable manufacturing during the conference:
- Paul Stockman, head of solar products and technology for Linde’s Electronics business, will be presenting “Materials Suppliers Perspectives” as part of the track on ‘Delivering on the Promise of Sustainable PV Manufacturing’
- WHEN: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, 15th July
- WHERE: Intercontinental Hotel
- Ian Travis, head of product management for Linde’s Electronics business, will be presenting on “Fluorine Chamber Cleaning: Reducing Carbon Footprint and Energy Pay-Back Time”at the Innovation Exchange
- WHEN: 3 p.m. on Tuesday, 13th July
- WHERE: Level 3, Moscone Centre West.
Linde has already enabled its electronics customers to reduce their CO2 emissions by a quarter of a million tons in 2010 by switching to on-site generated fluorine (F2) from nitrogen trifluoride (NF3). This is the same amount of CO2 produced by over 125,000 mid-size cars annually.
