A Plus Warehouse, a leading business-to-business distributor of lockers and quality industrial equipment, has debuted new minimum friction PVC roller conveyors on its site. The conveyors are available in a wide variety of sizes and are great for handling glass materials.
"While PVC roller conveyors have been around for a while, we have not carried them on our site until now," said Ed Stairman, president of A Plus Warehouse. "Their rugged, non-marring PVC rollers will not leave marks on products or packages, and are great for glass handling."
The PVC conveyor rollers from A Plus Warehouse are lightweight and feature a minimum friction bearing design. The virtually corrosion proof rollers are great for damp or corrosive environments, food handling, wash-down applications, flow racks, glass material handling or small product conveying.
A Plus Warehouse carries PVC roller conveyors with 7/8 inch diameter rollers and 1.9 inch diameter rollers. Both are available in 5 foot and 10 foot lengths. The 7/8 inch diameter rollers are available in overall widths ranging from 5 inches to 13 inches, with roller centers from 1 inch to 3 inches. The 1.9 inch diameter rollers are available in overall widths ranging from 12 inches to 30 inches, with roller centers from 3 inches to 12 inches.
A roller center is the measure from the center of one roller to the center of the next. A flexible package requires four rollers under it at one time whereas a rigid package requires only three. To figure out the roller center required, divide the box length by 3 or 4 (depending on whether it is rigid or flexible), and the whole number portion is the required roller center.
