Bridgestone to Supply Tyres to Malboro Ducati MotoGP Team in 2005

Bridgestone Corporation announced today that it has agreed to supply tires to the Ducati Marlboro Team in the 2005 MotoGP season.

Ducati Marlboro Team has been fully participating in MotoGP since 2003, and in this first year recorded an outstanding 1 win and 9 podium finishes. In the 2005 season, their riders will be Loris Capirossi and newly acquired Carlos Checa.

Bridgestone began supplying tires to MotoGP teams in the 2002 season. Bridgestone tires have demonstrated formidable strengths in technological development in the past 3 seasons, and are looking forward to this collaboration with a remarkable team in Ducati Marlboro Team.
