Dow Corning’s pavement program manager Jason Sika will present on “Highly Durable Pavement Sealants from Dow Corning” at a conference organized at Scope Convention Center in New Delhi (India) on August 3, 2010 from 6.30 pm onwards.
Jason will cover the latest developments in pavement sealants, and will also talk about our innovative silicone-based products and services in this field. Some of Dow Corning’s products for pavement sealing are:
Dow Corning® 890-SL: This is a one-part, cold-applied, easy-to-use, self-leveling silicon material that cures to an ultra-low-modulus silicone rubber upon exposure to atmospheric moisture. The cured silicone rubber remains flexible over the entire temperature range expected in pavement applications.
Dow Corning® 888: This is a low-modulus silicone sealant for new and remedial joint sealing applications in Portland cement concrete (PCC).This is effective for sealing transverse contraction and expansion joints, longitudinal, center line and shoulder joints in PCC.
Dow Corning® 902 RCS: This is a rapid-cure, self-leveling, two-part silicone rubber sealant designed to seal expansion joints, and can be used as the original sealant in new construction or as a remedial repair sealant in existing construction. In new construction, it provides a long-lasting seal that will prolong the life of the structure.
In addition to supplying quality products, Dow Corning ensures that the customer has access to our trained and knowledgeable support staff, technical service, product training and after-sales product support.
