GE to Acquire NovaSensor From TRW

GE Industrial Systems, a division of General Electric has signed an agreement to purchase NovaSensor Inc, a provider of high-technology products and services to the automotive, space, medical and industrial processes markets. NovaSensor are currently part of the TRW group.

While terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, the transaction was expected to be completed by the third quarter of this year, pending customary approvals. Once complete, NovaSensor will become part of the GE Measurement and Sensing Technologies.

NovaSensor has developed pioneering technology in the field of micromachining process design for medical, automotive and industrial pressure sensors.
