Tampa-based contract packaging company, Versatile Packagers, plans to open the doors to a new 85,000 square foot facility in July of 2011.
The company recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new building, which will be located off Interstate 4 in Plant City, Florida. The company's current operation is in Tampa and will remain open in addition to the new facility. The new operation expects to have about 50 employees, many of which will come from the existing Tampa location.
Rick Shave, Partner and Vice President of Versatile Packagers, said, "As our company grows, we plan to bring more employees on board. We're excited for the future and all the opportunities this new facility will create."
In addition to offering contract packaging services, Versatile Packagers utilizes its warehouse space for product storage, fulfillment and distribution. With their state of the art warehouse management and order processing system, they enable their customers to manage their inventory effectively and efficiently. With the new facility opening, their services are expected to further exceed customer expectations.
